Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

These terms cover use of this website and the general basis on which Montenegro Yacht Keepers provides vessel care and brokerage advisory services. Specific service terms — scope, cadence, and pricing — are confirmed directly with you before work begins, typically after a walkthrough of your vessel.

Who we are

Montenegro Yacht Keepers is operated by Marko Corsovic, based in Herceg Novi, Montenegro. Company registration is in progress. Contact: office@yachtkeepers.me, +382 67 260 417.

Vessel care services

Engineering & technical planning

Technical and refit planning work (stability calculations, drawing updates, lifting plans, technical documentation, class society support) is carried out and signed by our qualified naval architecture partner, not by Montenegro Yacht Keepers directly. Formal marine surveys for insurance or sale purposes are handled by accredited surveyors we work alongside, not by us.

Brokerage & advisory

Payment

Payment terms (invoicing frequency, method) are agreed directly with you when a care plan or service begins. We don't take payment through this website.

Cancellation

Either party may end an ongoing care arrangement with reasonable notice, as agreed at the start of the arrangement. One-off services (a specific repair, a valuation) are billed for work completed.

Liability

We take reasonable care in everything we do, but we're not liable for pre-existing faults, damage caused by third-party contractors we've arranged (beyond reasonable oversight), or events outside our control (severe weather, force majeure). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't be excluded under Montenegrin law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Montenegro.

Note: these terms were drafted to reflect how the business actually operates, but this is not formal legal advice. We'd recommend having them reviewed by a qualified lawyer — particularly given clients based in the EU and UK — before treating them as final and binding.
